While(true). It will never stop.
They are magic :D
Would you like me to make the bathroom?
Congrats guys, well deserved!
@EnceladusDynamics you didn't read the instructions closely enough...
Good to hear, thanks for testing. Definitely did not mean for it to work in atmosphere :D
Yeah that’s way too powerful... I found a 2,000 kN version that is perfect. :D
Just use the @ symbol, followed by their username. They will get a notification that you tagged them.
Thanks I’ll try those out.
How? I’m on iOS and I don’t see that option.
@Jrhartle87 I just registered a suggestion here
Good description, but if you can post the craft and/or video that would be really helpful to diagnose.
I have a trick I use sometimes. Just link two pistons together end to end and invert one, so that when you extend one, the other is closing. It's not perfect, but it matches the speeds much better than the stock. It's a complicated workaround, so it depends on how important it is to you that they open and close at the same speed.
Hi @Bartreck, it would be too difficult for me to try and explain here in words, but my pal @Sflanker has a knack for laying out difficult concepts like this.
It may not be much help, but the final docking code in This Craft may spark some insights.
I've ruined so many programs because of this. Especially on mobile, with my fat fingers.
Touché @zeropol. It’s not causing problems in programming since I’m using the one the game assumes. More of a casual query. Thanks!
Thanks for the thorough reply @sflanker . I’ll search the suggestions and post one about this if it isn’t already there.
@RealDavidB Thanks, just what I was looking for!
@zeropol Thanks for testing! I'll notify the other user to try lowering settings. I wonder if it has to do with frame rate? I tried to include Vizzy code that incorporates frame rate into the calculations but that seems not to have mattered.
These are so well done. I wish I had these when I first started playing; would have saved me a LOT of time and confusion. Thanks for giving back!
Are classes over yet??
Cool can’t wait to see it!
This is the same feeling I get every time I accidentally open a sandbox that was advertised as a craft.
Way to go @CodeCaptain for making the best of list!!!
Does anyone know of a player landing on it with automated script?!?
Thanks, I’ll check that one out too. Unfortunately I’m only on mobile so no planet editing or xml for me!
Yeah I noticed that too. I wonder if the change was on purpose?
Sorry, no clue.
Sort of unrelated, but because you mentioned having trouble with it... here is a link to the formatting guide for SR2 website. Hope it helps :D
Lucky. I'm too cheap to invest in a PC (just have a work laptop that is fully locked down). I'm getting really tired of the part limit on my iPhone though...
I know. I was able to find an incredible pseudo-canyon (maybe just a wash) on Taurus in the ESS. Maybe I’ll post a sandbox with the exact location. I have it featured in an upcoming video.
That’s why I said “much of the world” in my post. :D
Thank you as well!!!
You're the man!!!!!!
@Sflanker, I hate to ask you to do this again. Any chance you have something already made for this? It would be a lifesaver for my hover programs.
Nice! Have you seen some of @Crowxe 's work on geosynch? Link here
@Jrhartle87 I downloaded the craft and see exactly what you're talking about with the roll. This is an ongoing issue for me as well. The problem seems to be that when you have autopilot on, the rocket actively controls pitch and yaw very well, but roll is sort of 'locked' (hard to explain). The autopilot attempts to maintain whatever the current roll orientation is, but each time it's perturbed, the autopilot just resets to the new condition and tries to maintain that. This all wouldn't be a huge issue, except that Vizzy commands to override the roll input do not seem to register. I think it's about time to make a formal suggestion for this, although I don't think many others have noticed it.
@Spaceprogramer thanks, glad you like it!
@TheUnfriendlyGhost well that’s definitely frustrating. Have you submitted a bug report in-game yet? I did one the other day and the response was fast.
@TheUnfriendlyGhost one more thing: what camera mode are you using? The chase cam automatically orients to your crafts yaw/pitch axis, making translation way easier. You probably already tried this though.
@TheUnfriendlyGhost yikes. Can you post the craft?
@Insanity Will do!
Post this thing!!! I can’t promise I can fix it but if you @ me I’ll give it a shot. I like your stuff so I’m willing to help if I can.
Is your RCS balanced around the craft center of mass? You can check by looking at the coordinates of each RCS thruster. Ideally one is at -2.00 and the other is at +2.00, rather than one at -2.00 and +2.50 (or similar).
I’ll bump this. Been having issues as of late and I can’t tell if I’m just pushing the limits of my device (iOS as well, iPhone XS).
@Rizkyman in the meantime before I get the Saturn V done, enjoy the SnowSpeeder (now done and posted)
