set the noise type to perlin fractal, and i can tell you what the settings do:

Strength - increases the height/opacity of the noise

Frequency - increases the density of the noise

Octaves - increases the detail of the noise, higher octaves means more computing power

    Lacunarity - similar to frequency

    Gain - similar to strength

if you want things like canyons, or mountain ranges, you can change the Fractal Type of the noise. if you chose something with the new setting Power, the power increases the width of the the valley, not changing it’s depth

FBM Power - very smooth valleys

    Billow Power - defined valleys

Rigid very sharp valleys, and if you change the interpolation a bit (there’s only 3 interpolation modes), you can probably get dune-like forms

    to make surface textures

    • insert file into Simplerockets2 > UserData > CelestialDatabase > SupportFiles
    • if the simplerockets2 app is open, close it, and also close the files app
    • launch simplerockets2 (app) and add the texture into a planet's texture index

    to make ring textures

    • insert file into Simplerockets2 > UserData > CelestialDatabase > SupportFiles
    • the file must have a transparent background, and the rings must be vertical
    • if the simplerockets2 app is open, close it, and also close the files app
    • launch simplerockets2 (app) and add the texture in the rings tab in planet studio

first, you need to upload all the planets/moons/asteroids/stars in the system
second, you need to upload the system itself

you can upload any craft (or planet/system in this case) by loading the body in PlanetStudio, then tap the upload button in the PlanetStudio menu on the left. if you can't find the menu, tap the icon with 3 horizontal lines on the top left

remember that you can only upload 4 things (whether it be a planet, craft, system, etc) in 1 day, so make sure you upload it unlisted

most children may lack the ability to prevent arguing with other users, and cannot make as rational decisions as teens

plus, some websites (like this one) might be subject to inappropriate behavior, and apparently teens can endure it better than younger children 🤨

    rendezvous with a planet

make your trajectory as close to the planet as possible (but not in the atmosphere)

make sure your escape trajectory is pointed towards prograde relative to the planet's orbit around the sun (unless you want to go further into the sun)

keep doing this until you either run out of fuel or get to your destination

if you're asking to set up the planned trajectory towards a distant planet, place a maneuver node on pieces of the trajectory where you enter the planet. that way you can use the planet's gravity assist to basically get a free boost of speed, with the help of a thruster of course

you cannot avoid math in rocketry, it’s impossible

try math tutorials on youtube, they helped me create an orbital velocity calculator

or just try to lock an engine on a fuel tank on the ground and analyze the acceleration before the actual mission, then multiply that by the mass of the craft

in orbit, the twr doesn’t have to be very high, just enough that it won’t take thousands of years to make the apogee 1 kilometer higher (unless that is preferable somehow)

but, for landing and takeoff, the twr must exceed the gravity of the planet, especially if you want to not slam into the surface

try using springs that are incased inside a fairing (optional, fairing for aesthetic and aerodynamic reasons) that cannot stage, and make the spring width maximum, and attach a fuel tank (or strut) to the spring and add a landing foot at the end of it

should be about a million kilometers from the planet

and it probably should be a bit smaller than earth size, otherwise a larger barrycenter will appear

i've tested jupiter's gravity vs earth's gravity in a simulation and learned that jupiter is slightly gravitationally bound to earth

it's very possible, and there is a mod for it in android and computer called SimpleGalaxy

you can also make your own by placing multiple stars around another star, or a black hole, and increasing the semi-major axis by a lot. but the lighting of the planets will not come from their star

a game without software bugs is simply impossible, a game that has been ”fully developed” has very minor bugs that can be easily be walk passed, or has a frustrating but rare bug that the developers cannot fix, like the kraken in kerbal space program

by the way, squad and private division stopped working on ksp and will release the sequel this year

an asteroid cluster to rendezvous with inside the rings of “tinerings”
the asteroids should be 1 kilometer wide, if you can do that without getting a spiky result 😆
the asteroids should orbit one big asteroid and have the smaller asteroids have sub-moons

    i adore theorizing!

maybe since cylero is very cold, like mars, “cy” could be part of “cryo” which is a very cold chamber to incapsulate humans on very long journeys. and there is a software engineering thingy called “lero” which might also contribute. but i think @OmniExplorationDivision has the best hypothesis in my opinion.
the fact that lero is a software engineering thing could be linked to the opportunity rover and spirit rover and all the other martian rovers because they needed to have artificial intelligence to land safely, which requires high quality software.
but then again maybe i’m too smart discovering all these coincidences

Hey @LieutenantSOT2, since you’re new here, I can tell you how to have realistic lighting. Go to settings > quality enable image effects, and turn on “High Dynamic Range”, this makes bright objects, such as the sun or a light or the reflection of the sun, have glare depending on if the rocket has a shiny appearance (silver, white, glow in the dark, etc)
