    yeah i'm pretty sure its smth to do with COPPA, though really that whole thing could be avoided if all websites didn't spy on us in the first place regardless of age or origin or account

    most children may lack the ability to prevent arguing with other users, and cannot make as rational decisions as teens

    plus, some websites (like this one) might be subject to inappropriate behavior, and apparently teens can endure it better than younger children 🤨

    IIRC it's about COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act). Under 13, companies can't collect information like IP, cookies and whatnot.
