As the 1.0 release gets closer I've been thinking more and more about how the SimpleRockets 2 title isn't fair to what the game really is: It's not really a sequel to SR1, it's not just about rockets and it's far from simple. Earlier this year I discussed with some people on discord what they thought of an idea I had with @AntiMod, when discussing that same topic: Juno.
Juno is the main star in the stock system, what holds all planets together, and the first thing all players have seen so far when launching the game. On top of that, it's a catchy, easy to remember and unique name that, in my opinion, could represent the game really well. Most people seemed to like the idea, so I brought it to the rest of the team and, as you can imagine by this message, now we are seriously considering it.
The thing is, just Juno doesn't feel like a great game name, so we want to bundle it with something more, to better represent the gameplay experience and to make it a memorable title. Between the team and the users at discord we came up with many ideas, but most of them had to be discarded for different reasons (already existing games or companies, hard to pronounce/remember names, ...). The result is a form, that won't be conclusive but that will help us to make a more informed decision about what to do:

Maybe call Program:Juno or SpaceJuno

Do not change the name pls,it's good enough now.We should not forget our original intention and where we started because of we went to another beyond or made more progress.We can add a suffix to the existing name instead of changing it as a whole.

Take this with a gran of salt. I think renaming it is a great idea but Juno just doesn't really hit the spot

Lol, i actually tried to use this on modeling my Thesis project in school these last months, then they asked me what software did I use, it was the most awkward moment to say "simplerockets 2", well i kinda suggest that since the game is kinda getting more complex and not being so exclusive with the rockets, a kind of name that will attract not only those who are interested in rockets and space but those aspiring builders, those with interest in engineering or coding.
Probably a name with "Horizons" in it or somethin idk
