Expression is something i stay away from (since i don't understand "complex math" (anything else other than addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)), so that might be an issue
@ChalxAerospace
okay, okay, the Jundroo Machine made me smile more than it should have - that said, i forgot to even write a review for your games lol, will do in the future though :)
CORRECTION: The outer edge is 10k Gm (same as Purasaro orbit), not 5k!
It's also possible that the system may not be uploaded at all, since the optional validator already crashes the game (likely due to the sheer number of bodies rather than SOI intersections and such)
yeah as said below, they do work on Cylero too (more specifically, any planet with an atmosphere), however due to the low density of its atmosphere you need a lot of base power to have enough TWR to lift off there
basically it is the main habitable world in my Mortan System, it has red-colored grass and water, and dark greyish-blue rocks and mountains, it also has a ring system and a multitude of moons link to the latest version
@FriendlyFin
PH stuff is something i don't understand, but either way thanks for the info lol
also, just saying, the title of the section about the Enolians lead to a link that directly let anybody edit the post, you should probably remove or replace that link before somebody uses it for malicious purposes
@FriendlyFin
since i discovered that "too much oxygen in atmosphere is actually bad" according to this, looks like i have to change atmospheric compositions... of Merak...again.
now it's 48% oxygen, 48% nitrogen, 3% noble gases, and 1% misc stuff. i know nobody cares but i don't care either lol
CORRECTION: Cythare was supposed to be an O-type (vibrant but still very bright blue, ~30000 K temperature) star but i got the spectral types mixed up, sorry about that!
i do work on it sometimes, it just depends on my mood
still need to do some of Saturn's moons, all of Uranus' and almost all of Neptune's moons, as well as Pluto+Charon
@pianoAerospace
yes, it is possible, however the light distribution will be off, planets will only recieve light from the primary star and not the current star they are orbiting
not really "soon"... i still gotta get AJS out (which is currently suffering from orbit validator idiocy, again) and finish the rest of the VBSS stuff, so it'll be a while
@pianoAerospace
yeah, this whole upvoting thing is really just a free time and luck measuring contest... i don't mean to offend anybody but it really is just what it is at this point.
@Starborn
it seems that rotating the light direction is only available on pc (at least, to my knowledge), and i also don't know the keybinds for rotating it on pc, so either way, sorry, can't help you
yeah, problem is that i procrastinate a heck ton, so the time gap between an unfinished wip post and the final build will be very large
@SmurfResearchX
yeah, i'm not specifically trying to get upvotes or anything, but honestly i'm mostly just tryna get constructive criticism and other feedback just so i can get used to the site more
@YaMomzBox420
@FriendlyFin
my best tip would be to find a period of time where you both have lots of time and decent motivation if needed, then just slap on some music you like and go for it
yeah i managed to figure out myself meanwhile
but, do you know how to reduce the overall thrust output of the engines? i need that too. doesn't matter if it's entirely reduced or not, just as long as it has some decent thrust reduction
@NotAGopnik
if you have wings that have been made bigger to increase the lift, and then made smaller using tinker panel, scale them down normally then set size bigger with tinker panel. them generating too much lift for the physics engine might be the case for this bug.
another issue is that your craft may be too light, if this is the case then do the opposite and decrease the size and lift of the wings then scale them up with tinker panel.
if neither doesn't work, sorry, i can't help you, you'll have to wait for other people to respond.
i'm no vizzy expert, but i think you need to use the block "set time mode to [TimeWarpX] (in Craft Instructions category), with X being a number 1-10m as well the standard, slow motion and fast motion modes.
if that's not what you're looking for, then sorry, i can't help you any further
hey, sorry for the tag again, but i think we might be able to get more information if you can directly get your hands on the planetary body too, want me to tag you on an unlisted post of it or no?
@ChalxAerospace
based on comparisons with the default template both the expression and data flow things seem to match.
still, thanks for your help so far
@ChalxAerospace
i'll go see what i set again
edit: i'm running with a perlin fractal, FBM (no powers just standard), 0.5 frequency, 1 strength, 4 octaves, 2 lacunarity, and 0.5 gain
@ChalxAerospace
yeah, probably
3.5 years agoi'm thinking i might upload the interesting ones as public, and then the other "filler" ones as unlisted
@ChalxAerospace
a google search doesn't prove anything either, since just entering "cylero" gives the planet in-game
3.5 years agoit works, thanks for the help again!

i don't know exactly how to, but here's Pedro's one that has 30 AG's (it also used to have 50 paint slots however it seems to have been patched)
3.6 years agookay, okay, the Jundroo Machine made me smile more than it should have - that said, i forgot to even write a review for your games lol, will do in the future though :)

nope, only the galaxy center actually provides light, however i've made a workaround (sorta) for the stars having a dark backside
3.6 years ago@NotVedhaspace
they will work ingame technically, however even the most powerful ones wouldn't have enough TWR to actually fly @FriendlyFin

3.6 years agoagreed, although the fuselage slice feature from SP should be coming to here too (somebody suggested it already and it's in "planned" category)
+1 3.6 years agovery nice, Sergeaa is more than hot enough to boil it so it makes perfect sense

it's possible, but then do you know any green-colored gases?

already fixed the thing as of writing, but thanks anyway

3.7 years agobut, do you know how to reduce the overall thrust output of the engines? i need that too. doesn't matter if it's entirely reduced or not, just as long as it has some decent thrust reduction

here they are

method: distance on axis
domain warping 2:
type: fractal
frequency: 1
