So while i'm cracking away at making new stuff for Mortan 1.3, i noticed this peculiar issue regarding the cloud cover of this Venusian-based celestial body. It just shows up as blue.

In case you're wondering, no, i didn't mess up the data flow things, here's proof:

This "blue sky" also appears in the minimap of the navball:

So, does anybody know how to fix the cloud cover?

I had this when I applied changes in terrain generation tab (in your first pic) only with the dice-looking icon. Use the reload button in the "celestial body" tab (in your first pic at the upper right corner.

@Zenithspeed yes, tag me when you upload it, there's no problem as i read every notification

hey, sorry for the tag again, but i think we might be able to get more information if you can directly get your hands on the planetary body too, want me to tag you on an unlisted post of it or no?

based on comparisons with the default template both the expression and data flow things seem to match.
still, thanks for your help so far

@Zenithspeed i couldn't reproduce either, you might have messed up with the expression or other items in the "Clouds" container

    here they are

    domain warping 1:
    type: axial twist
    axis: 0|1|0
    angle: 180
    exponent: 1
    method: distance on axis

    domain warping 2:
    type: fractal
    frequency: 1
    amplitude: 1
    octaves: 4
    gain: 0.3
    lacunarity: 1.5
    interpolation: quintic

@Zenithspeed so, i tried most options, but i couldn't reproduce this problem, could you specify the domain warping types, values and configurations?

i'll go see what i set again
edit: i'm running with a perlin fractal, FBM (no powers just standard), 0.5 frequency, 1 strength, 4 octaves, 2 lacunarity, and 0.5 gain

@Zenithspeed what about the noise and fractal types?, some noise types don't support specific fractal types.

i did alter some things, including the domain warping, though i think i reverted the frequency and strength back to default

did you change anything in the atmosphere noise?
