As for activity, these days most of the community spends its time on Discord, mainly the (unofficial) Juno Community Server. I'd consider checking that out if you're hoping to interact with the community more.

Oh man, I'm really sorry to hear that. A few years ago my attic started smouldering because of bad, ancient wiring, and we had to leave the house and call the fire department. Luckily in our case the end result was little more than a large hole dug in the ceiling to put it out, but it was still a traumatic experience that effects me to this day and I really empathize with what you've just gone through. I'm glad you and your family are safe, and I hope you can rebuild.

in that same file you may also want to set SkipValidation to true, if the game starts preventing you from launching your crafts
On Windows, go to C:\Users\user\AppData\LocalLow\Jundroo\SimpleRockets 2\Career, create a copy of the Default folder and name it whatever you want. Then, inside the folder you'll see a file called TechTree.xml. Open it, and in line 299 you should see "<Item id="Cheats.TinkerPanel" value="false" />" -- change false to true, save the file, open the game, and create a new game with the new custom career mode you've created. You should now have a fresh career save but with the tinker panel enabled. From that XML file you may also enable other cheats if you wish.
@Tallisar among other things, but yes. false reports do happen also, but for the most part it has been reliable at catching things that need to be looked at
@Tallisar the automod doesn't remove content on its own, it only reports it to us. if it ever does do things on its own, it would be for removing very unambiguously problematic things like slurs

@Zenithspeed currently there aren't any plans to add new loading screens as far as I'm aware, but last time Jundroo was taking submissions there was a rule that it had to be screenshots or art in the stock system

Hey so just a heads up: due to a trademark dispute with Honda over on the SimplePlanes website several years ago, if you upload this craft to this website you will have to remove any Honda branding from the title and description, and preferably from the craft itself too. Yonda is a common substitute I believe. This doesn't apply to any other trademarks, just Honda.
@PZLAerospace there's no upload limit for planets because otherwise uploading a system would take multiple days, since systems require you to upload every planet

We do our best to keep political debates off of this site, as I assure you they are against our rules. However, we are human beings that moderate this site in our spare time, and as such some things will inevitably slip through the cracks (especially post comments). The best way to help keep it to a minimum is to use the report button on posts you believe are in violation of our rules, as this is guaranteed to bring them to our attention.
But with that being said, it's important to understand that we cannot — and should not — stop all discussion of political subjects. There may be some event that affects real-life aerospace programs, or negatively impacts some portion of the playerbase, or just some mild reference to a political figure, event, or ideology. Whatever the case may be, sometimes it's just healthier for the community to allow certain discussions (with measures taken to make sure they are otherwise following the site rules), as being too overzealous with removing them can cause un-needed frustration for everybody involved. Again, though, please do use the report button when you think something isn't appropriate for the site.
