this is super late, but the magnitude of a vector is the math block "length"

@lafario thanks, I spent literally two months on that video :)

@Tristxan I haven’t tested or tried. I don’t think it would work though, as the configs probably look for the name “Earth”, and you change it to Droo. Although, if you are aiming to make cinematics instead of simply beautifying the game, then you could use the system for parallax on the ground, then switch to the system with temu clouds after you launch.

I just remembered there is a way to access the current drag a part is experiencing in Vizzy. It's in the part (id) data, where you access data about a part, including drag. So, if you have this drag force, and you have the current air density, and you can find the air density at any altitude by the custom expression you made, can't you estimate the drag force at any altitude for that part, assuming it has the same velocity and orientation? And then if you did this for every part, using the min part ID and max part ID block, you'd be able to find the drag force on the entire craft at any altitude. It's not as useful as having a vector for drag at any altitude, but it's a start.

The tinker panel works wonders, you can change the scale of the three x y z components of a part, and also use the shape tool? And I guess learn griebling, adding detail to a boring surface, it'll help.

@OrbitalOrigins I used to use the avatar system by deepfriedfrenchtoast:
    https://www.simplerockets.com/PlanetarySystems/View/cR6RT6/Avatar-System
It has starbase, a simple baikonur cosmoderome, and it also has a really cool city from Avatar.

If you have trouble with the arms falling off from impact or the weight, try increasing the amount of hinge rotators, as well as increasing their size

@fastplanesforjunofun How about a small cubesat sent to low earth orbit? Like as a first launch for a space agency.

@fastplanesforjunofun OrbitalOrigins I think is the best, or DeltaVDesigns, but I think Orbital Origins is better.

@fastplanesforjunofun Oh man, I can’t wait to see the booster be caught. I reeaaallly hope it happens on October 12th, but I shouldn’t get my hopes up.
