@Bmcclory i cant really come up with a desingn that works well with them. For example i built a craft that got a 250kg ion probe to droo orbit. From there it would have taken me 70 periapsis burns just to get an encounter with the moon. After each burn i had to time warp several in game days to recharge the batteries with solar panels. I think the electricity needed to run them compared to the amount you can recharge with reasonably sized solar panels is too high.
@Nooneoone the physics are adapted for rockets but andrew said that you can still fly planes with them. And yes i think COM COL and COT will be like in sp.
@ForeverPie i mean in terms of geometry and buildings
6.5 years agoIts hard to make a map with the size of the one in sr2 as detailed as simple planes's small map

6.6 years ago@Caveman999 what and where?
6.6 years agoYou need to angle the wings so that they "push" the air away and propell you forward.

6.6 years agoOne way trip is about 6500 - 7000m/s with return and direct ascend somewhere around 8000m/s in total.

6.6 years agoI once went to urados and the ejection burn from droo took around 6000m/s of dv.
6.6 years ago@Tully2001 If you look in the gif you can actually see that there is a pressure wave and it looks awesome.
6.7 years ago@Sharandeep981 I think it might be generated with perlin noise and some other adjustment but i dont know for sure.
6.7 years ago@Bmcclory I think he meant any moon with an atmosphere and there are moons that have an atmosphere.
