Are you manually controlling the plane or using auto-pilot, if you are using auto pilot you might need to change the settings of it to work better. If you could give me a link to a plane I can set it up to work better

this is a simple code of the basics, for more accurate hovering you will need to look up SUVAT equations and how to use them
