@Shmexysmpilot Still no mods on mobile, sorry. This method just allows you to download modded crafts, not the mods themselves. When doing this, the game will either remove the modded parts or replace them.
The problem with planet studio on mobile is not the battery consumption, but the fact that generating new terrain requires tons of power out of your CPU that mobile devices just don't have.
You.
.
You can log-in to the SimpleRockets site using your SP login info and it'll make an account with that name on here, plus you'll get 100 bonus points for doing so. Basically, if a username is taken on the SP site, it can only be used on the SR site by the owner of the SP account.
It is every player’s right to block whomever they wish for whatever reasons they wish.
Being blocked by a user in no way hampers your ability to enjoy the game or this website. If someone blocks you, be a better person and simply move on.
@Doublehsh @wwwNews222com Both of you please, be nice. This is supposed to be a post announcing a new developer, not a post for pointless arguments about points.
@NoIDontWanna @Dogfish5550 @JustDatGuy You clearly haven't gotten to the hardware intensive part of planet studio. The solar system view isn't an issue; it's essentially just the normal SR2 map screen. The real problem comes when you load a planet from the "load planet" menu, and it gets worse once you click the generate button after making changes to said planet; which is assuming the game doesn't crash upon trying to load the planet in the first place.
The images don't show up in the craft uploader if they're taken using the widescreen option. Take the pictures again but don't use the widescreen option.
The game autosaves the designer.xml when you leave the designer. The only time it doesn't do this is when the game crashes since it doesn't have time to save it.
Google doesn't prohibit mods. The problem with Android modding is that with fairly recent 64-bit requirements they've had to change the scripting backend to one that does not support mods since the previous one did not have 64-bit support. If IL2CPP ever supports mods, then Android will have mod support. It's out of Jundroo's control. That said, embedding some mods into the game would be nice but it's not a priority.
.
Edit: Also, if Mono (the one that supports mods) gets 64-bit support then Android can have mod support, provided they switch back to it.
As @Insanity said, it's currently not capable of actually doing any editing—that's still done via XML modding. One thing to note about it is on mobile you can't control the camera in it without an external keyboard. Also, when the planet studio is capable of doing editing in-game, it might not be available on mobile.

Mods
Procedural rocket engines
Procedural jet engines
Procedural landing gear
A visual coding system called Vizzy
Astronauts
And much more. A career mode is also planned for the future. If you want to see what they're working on and what they plan to do, check out the roadmap.
@pedro16797 congrats :)
+1 5.0 years ago@Dogfish5550 Not sure; but I'm pretty sure @stander has more than enough for it.
