I'd just recommend taking some time to improve your planet making skills and techniques. I'm not saying your planets are bad, they're 100 times better than the hundreds of barely edited vanilla templates I see every day, but there is always room for improvements.
@heitorM just make sure you never ever play Noita, you’ll play it for a couple hours, abandon it cause you can’t beat it, then several years later you’ll find some videos of it on YouTube and decide to give it a go again, and then you’ll waste 200 hours of your life.
@67milo I will only be adding simple templates that show how to make general elements a planet may have, like aurorae, clouds, tidal locking, etc. Of course, you are free to make the template if you want to, but it will not be added.
@Spitty I don't really get what you mean by "tutorial for cloud cover" but if you mean what kind of noises you should use than I can't really help you with "Terran" cloud cover since earth-like worlds could have wildly different climates and atmospheres, so I'd just recommend messing around with noise combinations and warps until you find something that looks nice. For Venusian clouds add an Axial Twist warp with Distance From Axis Inverse with an angle between -200 and -400.
@Hyperant No, there just hasn't been any more tutorials made to add to this, and I'm taking a break from JNO for a while, so I won't be making any more of my tutorials.
@Hyperant I still check this site regularly but (at least for now) I don't really have the motivation to make much, I'm more just playing the games I want to play instead of forcing myself to do JNO stuff even when I don't know what I want to make.
it was down for three days, and then (at least for me) it was down for a couple of hours a few hours ago so I expect there could be more short shutdowns.
This will likely be the only tutorial in the Expressions series for a while because this outlined basically everything I know, I will make more tutorials as I learn it though so this won’t be the last.
Happy birthday mate
