I've been hard at work with these, so expected either one of them to come in a few days. Writing the lore takes about a day or two, so expect 4-5 days. I may do it earlier if I manage to work fast enough.
In my opinion, you should upload all the planets first, then make the system, as that is also what I am doing for my Antarius system. Another thing is that once you upload one, you can remove its file type and download the website version. For some reason, the planets do not appear when you upload them all together off the game. As for the ideas, I have two. The first is that you should make a tidally-locked planet, and the second is a moon with a large impact crater, like Brigo.
Dude I get you’re choosing to do this, but you gotta stop changing and not sticking to one project. For me, that’s what led to my first burnout. I get it if you run out of ideas or loose the motivation, but the best way in my opinion to “stay in the game” is to probably search new ideas, seek feedback, and maybe do devlogs so people can get glimpses of what is going to come or what is being worked on.
May ask you this @Isosceles51, can I help? Or at least tell me the problem? I mean, sorry if I m being extra, but you seem to see it as a problem, yet you try not to find out ways on how to solve it (from what I’ve seen so far).
Yes, I know I said I'd take a break from working on Antarius. Still, while working on a planet for the new and upcoming system, Avejol, I somehow managed to "perfect" my oblate-technique and cracks, so I just had to make something with that, along with the rings, which I managed to make them highly detailed (but fr this time).
Also: You can use a basic arithmetic instead of generate height. Set the operation to A * C, then set the value to some higher than 1000. The higher the value, the higher and stronger the terrain is. Lastly, like a generate height modifier, place this right about the update height. This is a great alternative to generate height, but you have less control.
Huh, that's neat and interesting @Isosceles51. Im curious, how are the humans so close to being intergalactic in the 2400s? I mean, it's your lore, but that progression of time is just short and fast. In my lore, humans don't even leave the Solar System until the 2100s, and leave the galaxy around the 2800s - 3100s.
How would they go from the space age to the bronze age @Isosceles51? I mean, I have something similar with the Hypereans--that is because there was a large system-scale civil war that kinda stranded most hypereans to their inhabited worlds (though they weren't in the bronze age). I figured you have something similar?
This is really nice @Isosceles51. How do you envision these creatures? Considering they were in the Bronze Age ~7200 years ago, and the humans were in the same age ~2000 years ago, I think I can conclude that the civilizations on Sarkal are quite advanced. I also like the idea of great civilizations from the past, leaving ruins. I also use that idea, through the “Aureus” civilization (currently the main predecessor to the hypereans).
Oh yeah. So @Zenithspeed, I initially needed your help with that planet, but I soon found the problem and deleted it because I already solved it. It was also no biggie, as it was merely a black-blank template with a fancy atmosphere.
Arventhor is coming along well, and I plan to give it like, a large accretion disc, because the larger the better or something like that. I am working on the accretion discs, paint.net seems to be having a stroke when I make them, so progress is steady but slow @MatTheAerospacer
I am very excited for Oord and the new skybox! I just hope that rings are visible on the star map, considering that the flare from the stars are going to be visible! This is gonna be great!
Oh! And uh, I plan to make all the moons of Arkkanna before I upload the demo, because why not? I plan to cut down on some moons, but its just a possibility. For now, I am working on only top-priority planets. So far, Romarius is expected to be released first.
Define "series" @koeppa? Normally, I post these forums to show that the planets that I uploaded were old. This meant that they were never updated, never tampered with, and I ultimately decided to upload them to show what my old planets were like. To know which planet was old, there is normally a large text display, "Uploaded for Archival Purposes", or something along those lines. I do have my own planet series, which incorporates most of the planets I have so far. Some of these include Arkkanna, Torreah, and whole nine yards. These are part of a fictional universe that I created (rather a "story"), dubbed The Final Frontier. These planets are made unique, and I work on them for days, whether it is their lore, their characteristics like geology and atmosphere, etc. etc. I also write the lore, and other parameters that are not available from the game, such as mass or advanced atmospheric configuration (like adding gases and the pressure). Most of my old planets and creations have old lore, and are old, but I generally keep them to show how I made planets in the past.

What system?
6 months agoThey don't fall @Zenithspeed. Technically, they're immutable.
7 months agoSadly @deepfriedfrenchtoast, it does not apply to translation, meaning I can't make the cubes orbit the structure. It least they can s p i n.
7 months agoThank you @Toinkove! I will try that!
7 months agoIt is very hard for me to create a way for people to replicate it, as I need to upload every planet and the system for it to be replicated.
7 months agoThose bands look amazing.
7 months agoBlack holes @MatTheAerospacer. It's either that or I just decided to collapse into one, or I don't know.

7 months agoNote: All of the planets and moons are from the Antarius System. I do not plan on making any other planets that aren't TFF-Based.
7 months agoHow did you get a cutout of Sarkal? What program do you use?
7 months agoIt looks awesome! Unfortunately, I cannot seem to understand the letters, as most of the small ones are blurry.

8 months agoI thought you said Sarkal would be a sub-earth (in size), not just simply similar to earth’s size? Just wondering.

It is sad that this organization is sadly retired. ¡Pero no es mi problema!
8 months agouuhhhhhh 😳@MatTheAerospacer roughly more than 30, but that is like, not counting the moons. Arkkanna has the most with 19 major* moons.
