@Lq11 they are going to be easy competitions. I have finally decided: each trimester we choose a topic (for example: space, WWII, cars…) and in the trimester each of the three months will have its own category: photography, building and the third month is for rest and deciding winners.
@JLaerospace the most upvoted craft this year was an upload button i think with 130 upvotes or something like that. I know what you mean with nailing a craft, anyway i always wake up the next day to check the downloads and when i see the craft i think, "hell, this is horrendous" and i spend the whole day building it better, i forget about it for almost a month, finish it in hour and a half, say "yeah this is cool" and publish it. the process repeats. something interesting is that my favourite craft is also the one which first version i hate the most, im talking about the HF-01. i was planning to release an updated version but with the looks of the first prototype, but it looks so bad to me that i wont ever do so. At the same time im in love with the new one (but without ugly pylons, just smooth). I dont look at it and think what a good job i made, i look at it and just smile at its breathtaking beautifulness. i know this can sound like exagerated ego, i swear it isnt, i am just so impressed that i want to share that beautifulness with others, not as my job but as a piece of art itself for the community to enjoy
@Lq11 i knew it was, anyway lets take a break, we made a wonderful job, lets just see the feedback. you should check the comments on it, you will be amazed how much people do like it
im neutral here but i think you are wrong in some aspects. Being weird is not the same as acting weird, which is what you describe. second, whats the need to share this with other members of the community? you may be damaging a person who maybe deserves you blocking him as you did, this by telling other members things that do not affect them and probably end having a bad image of him when he did nothing to them. and last thing, persons that joke about mental health normally do this because they have or fear having some mental health problems, i dont know if its the case but normally it is. also i think he did this only to you, he has been quite nice to me. idk what could have made him to treat you like that. quite strange. anyway have a good day and try seeing behind people's way of acting to have a better view of how everyone is
my goal is to make you one of the most reputated builders on this web. your work deserves more upvotes and downloads. i know how hard you work on projects. maybe you are going to build the most amazing craft on the web one day of those. i dont get how can you focus so much on detailing. when i saw the ladders on the carrier i was really amazed. your perseverance on pursuing perfection is admirable, you are closer to it than most of us
Here since your first post! honestly your first crafts are still amazing bro, mines are mediocre even considering what thy became after all the updates i did to them.
@Sansu in real life they can make an engine provide 130% its thrust while making it consume more than twice what they do without it (twice is an aproximated minimum, the number is usually higher)
@Sansu to be honest my aircraft arent the most fuel efficient, but i discovered that by having oversized engines allows you to have a greater output power when not using an afterburner while still drinking a reasonable fuel amount. for example you can take the J-01, my trainer plane which is supersonic without afterburner: it does drink much fuel but not a problem, using an afterburner would have been horrible for consumption, even in a smaller engine. To get a view of how much the afterburner increases consumption you can check the HF-01S in any version you want: lower the fuel quantity as much as you can (leave 2 ton or similar) and try it with full afterburner and another time but now at 70 percent throttle, compare the range of the aircraft and how fast it was flying and you will conclude that aferburner is the main problem for efficiency on fighter planes
@LeMagicBaguette i was bored and rockets were too difficult do make properly. i started with pretty bad builds, honestly im not very proud of some of them (SimpleSabre and Stepback 1), and thats why they never got remodels. you can find a small text about my trajectory in my description if you are interested
@Sansu you can try it yourself by downloading the 1.1 version of the HF-01S which is the fastest one and flying the fastest you can to then start climbing completely vertical without turning off the engines
@Sansu the plane was so fast that went out of the atmosphere but didnt have enough speed to exit the earths gravitational sphere of influence, so it just acted as a rocket without fuel and ended up coming back so it was able to restart engines and return to the airbase safely. the climb rate sustained was of about 1000m/s during a whole minute, proving the superiority of the engines and the aircraft itself. at a height of 76km the engines still were able to produce 1kn of force each while drinking only 300g of fuel per second
@TheVizzyLucky yeah both topics are good for me, anyway i was proposing some sort of combo between them: we build something and then we take photographs of it
@Lq11 nice
one month ago@RokugouSystems you deserve more votes, you make great stuff
one month ago@Sansu the HF-01 demand is higher than RAM memories help

one month ago@Tallisar @TriVector true, can you guys believe the little upvotes me and lq11 got from the carrier we spent half a year building?
one month ago@TriVector you only stayed one day in the web, wait for the community to find you

one month ago@Beaconindustries @Aludra877
one month agothere is a web but idk how was it done, @Lq11 does know how, hope he can help
one month ago@BeaconIndustries we have an awacs being converted for carrier usage. i havent seen the starship yet
2 months agoenjoy your achievement
2 months ago@Lq11 its cool to see this support, answer some comments yourself, the work is ours, we both can interact with supporters
2 months ago@Lq11 i knew it was, anyway lets take a break, we made a wonderful job, lets just see the feedback. you should check the comments on it, you will be amazed how much people do like it
2 months agonow we have time to make one with hinges to make it fold and everything
2 months agowe forgot the freaking flag bruh
2 months agojust noticed we forgot a very important part
2 months ago@Lq11 it is indeed unsignificant, but the greatness is made by what seems unnecessary for function
2 months ago@Lq11 not everyone can notice those things, not to say make them
2 months ago@Lq11 thats exactly what i was saying. you want perfection above everything. thats admirable
2 months agoi repeat, i do not support what lacker did but i do not support either your arguments, i think they arent solid enough

2 months ago@PZLAgencies pure nonsense, the web storage of simplerockets has decreased sine then
2 months agoit was over one year i think of 200 messages daily
2 months agoi wouldnt be surprsed that it was the most commented post on the web by far
2 months ago@PZLAgencies @Aludra877 i used that post to talk with my ex-gf but we are no longer talking to eachother
2 months ago@Lq11 you dont need to hurry, but having it ready on holidays would be sick so we get more upvoting

2 months ago@TheVizzyLucky right
2 months ago@TheVizzyLucky actually there is a huge part of craft-building community
