@JLaerospace the most upvoted craft this year was an upload button i think with 130 upvotes or something like that. I know what you mean with nailing a craft, anyway i always wake up the next day to check the downloads and when i see the craft i think, "hell, this is horrendous" and i spend the whole day building it better, i forget about it for almost a month, finish it in hour and a half, say "yeah this is cool" and publish it. the process repeats. something interesting is that my favourite craft is also the one which first version i hate the most, im talking about the HF-01. i was planning to release an updated version but with the looks of the first prototype, but it looks so bad to me that i wont ever do so. At the same time im in love with the new one (but without ugly pylons, just smooth). I dont look at it and think what a good job i made, i look at it and just smile at its breathtaking beautifulness. i know this can sound like exagerated ego, i swear it isnt, i am just so impressed that i want to share that beautifulness with others, not as my job but as a piece of art itself for the community to enjoy

@Livingg017 Yeah I feel you man, there's just something about knowing that you really nailed a craft and then putting it out there for everyone to see. And I do really enjoy your builds! However I can't help but notice the trend when you just scroll through the recent posts that there's much more slop for easy points compared to when I just started playing and idk it's a little sad

@JLaerospace i am of those who attempt to bring quality regardless of the volume, each time i build or update a craft i put 110% of myself into making it the best. My techniques have been evolving and that is reflicted on my crafts. you can notice how focused ive always been on quality by looking at my standard Razorblade fighter, the original craft and the last version are on my profile. On the last updates i focused on bringing a lot of functions to the plane, still keeping up with the aesthetics, an example is the piston on the airbrake, a detail that some of the best planes out there do not have.

@TriVector we are also harmed by those upvote cults, and sometimes our best quality build dont get the upvotes they deserve, for example my new aircraft carrier, which took Lq11 and me half a year to build

@TriVector Couldn't agree more, also nowadays a lot of people seem to care a lot about the points instead of just having fun, and putting volume before quality...

@Livingg017 I just want that the craft should be upvoted on its quality merit and not on some other basis

@Livingg017 I don't know that why people upvote even the things which don't deserve it . For recently I saw a person posting a 2 part thing and got 9 upvotes. This leads to person making high quality builds and good builds to not get on the top crafts. I have also seen that there are a few friends of people who continue to upvote their friends builds irrespective of the quality. I think this upvote cult should be stopped or prohibited
