This is a refractor with the diameter of the objective lens being 100mm and length of the tube 1000mm.
does it actually work?
@TheCanuckle642 ya, i mean, the rings, you just cant miss em
@Chtite451SR2 Yeah, there nothing like seeing Saturn for the first time with your own eyes
but i did take (BAD) photos of jupiter, saturn, and mars, (and the moon too) and they are damn pretty through my telescope, especially saturn
@TheCanuckle642 lol i cant make mine work with me, so i use a small camera, i had a better camera but that broke... ill get a new one in the future...
@Chtite451SR2 lol, yeah, I wouldn’t be the person to ask. I only just put my phone camera up to the lens using a mount, and take pictures that way. What I’ve figured out though is if you can keep the camera centered on the planet, turn down the exposure/brightness thingy by tapping on said planet and scroll the bar that pops up next to the sun all the way.
@HyperPatch lol not me... im just bad at astrophotography
@Chtite451SR2 smh imagine having an nexstar 8se and not knowing the basics of astrophotography tbh
@TheCanuckle642 ok, i photographed mars jupiter and saturn, i dont know how to make the images better though... anyone know? (yes i know this is off topic jundroo...)
