I have made my Sparrow 1 and Sparrow 2 rockets, which automatically launch into space, and land the first stage. I do not know how to do accurate landings, so the first stage just lands randomly somewhere near the space center. If anyone has any tips that could help me do an accurate landing, that would be great. I am not as advanced at coding as some people, but I do understand most of it.

@Tweedle_Aerospace I am exited to see the sn8 too. It’s only a month late :)

@JSO18 it might work then. Excited to see it happen! Also can’t wait for SN8 today!

@Tweedle_Aerospace I probably could also do a landing pad landing, since my Sparrow 2 already lands way past the space center. The boost back always just goes to a certain speed, so the landing is not accurate, although it still goes past the space center with it’s boost back. I do not think fuel would be a problem.

@JSO18 it saves you fuel without the huge boost back.

@Tweedle_Aerospace thanks for the response! I will look into that. I also want to keep my first stage around the same size, so I might try to do a drone ship landing, although that is much harder.

Also you will need a much bigger first stage.

You will want to do things like lock on vectors and things. If you look at examples like the infinite 7 you can get the exact coordinates of LZ-1. There is also a thing that tells you your lateral distance automatically but I have yet to get it working properly.
