Lestroth

Other name(s): Antarius IX
True name: --
Full name: Lestroth
Common name(s): Lestroth
Pronunciation: /lĕst-trôth/
Demonym: Lestrothian

[OVERVIEW]:
Exposition
Lestroth is the ninth planet of the Antarius System, and, like the other worlds of the system, resides in one of the inner regions of the region of space known as the Traiathad Nebula. Notable features of the planet include, but are not limited to, large ice caps, an equatorial ocean, native life, and significant geological activity. Of the two blackholes, Lestroth is the final planet to have some sort of habitability. It has one very large moon that has a great effect on the planet.
Surface
Funnily enough, Lestroth's surface can be summarized into three biomes: the waters, the life, and the ice. Of course, these major biomes do have their own sub-biomes, and so forth. Due to the tidal effects that Errotes has on the planet, the volcanism is high, which allowed for the formation of numerous geological features such as mountains, ravines, valleys, geysers, volcanoes, and so on. The ocean is relatively deep, extending to roughly 11 kilometers below sea level. Strange and exotic lifeforms lie at the depths of these concealed waters; who knows what secrets they may behold. The general surface, often defined by the extensive greenery, is rich and diverse, with there being a large number of rivers and lakes that snake and dot the planet. There are also a lot of valleys and canyons caused by the erosion, which originates from the ice melting from the ice caps and migrating to the lower latitudes. Given the large size of these ice caps, it is fair to assume that they are the reason for these gargantuan works of water. The ice caps themselves are another grand feature of the planet. Given their tremendous size, almost--if not--even more than half of the surface of the planet is covered in ice. There are also strange, naturally occurring structures of ice that are formed from wind erosion on the ice caps.
Life
Lestroth's surface is unusually habitable for a planet of this distance; however, there is nothing completely out of the ordinary, as the Aurean presence has given life to this planet. There are various forms of life, including large, towering yet broad and conical trees, or humble aquatic plants. The trees have a somewhat pyramidal structure and deep, complex root systems to better support their weight, withstand atmospheric stress such as strong winds and currents, and to anchor them into the ground. Their leaves are small, tough, and have needle-like cones to minimize wind resistance and water loss. They also contain a thick, wax-like coating. Given their shape and size, it also helps shed heavy snow and ice. They are also dark blue and green in color because of the wax, but also to better absorb the dimmer light. To not freeze during cold times, these trees use some sort of “botanical antifreeze” such as glycoproteins that bind to the surface of ice crystals, preventing them from growing and inducing damage to cells. They have a repeating tripeptide unit (threonyl–alanyl–alanyl) with a sugar molecule attached to the threonine residue. The hydroxyl groups on the sugar and the polypeptide backbone are both important for their antifreeze.
Moon
Errotes is a large moon that is internally different from the surface, such as possessing an active metallic core and rocky mantle. However, the crust and/or surface is widely different, as it is instead icy, with some areas of the moon possessing subsurface liquid water that is heated by the geological activity.

    | If you run into a problem, I will try me best to help.
    ……….
    | This planet is heavily inspired off of the planet microTech from the game Star Citizen, and a very old planet that I drew from my childhood.
    ……….
    | Big thanks to my beloved brethren @Deepfriedfrenchtoast, who helped me a lot in the early stages when I was making the config.

You simply paste the config file in the same folder you copied it from. As for what to do in the config file, that's complicated. Even I am still learning how to work it, but your best bet is taking the other config files apart, copying and pasting assets into your file, and tinkering with those. @Oliospaceagency

So, every planet/object with Parallax must have a configuration file for the mod. It essentially labels which planet has the mod, and what assets (the thingy, whether rocks or trees) it has. AFAIK, you cannot simply create a configuration file right off the bat. To acquire one, you must take any existing config file and duplicate it. From there, right-click it to open a menu, then select [Edit]. Then, the config file will open, and you'll be able to edit the mod there. @Oliospaceagency

To add Parallax to a custom planet, you need to create a configuration file for said planet. For Lestroth, I simply copied and pasted the assets mostly from Droo, then tweaked them to show up on the biomes I wanted to, as well as other aspects such as noise generation, LOD, size, etc. I learned without a tutorial; I just simply took a good look at the code, then replicated it. Lestroth is essentially my first test, and as I tested it more and more, I managed to have a relatively good understanding of it. @Oliospaceagency

@Tallisar ok cool but i said “in my opinion” so my habitable worlds will stay the same unless i wanna go crazy with planet parameters

It is not "quite high", even for humans. In fact, the pressure and density are still pretty survivable (the composition is still unsafe, but that is not the matter now). If the atmospheric composition were the same as that of Earth's, while still keeping the density (and thus, pressure), a human could live their whole life without issues. I am not sure who you are to say the atmospheric density is quite high, especially given how the planet is larger than Earth. @PZLAgencies

@Tallisar also imo a surface air density of 2.235 kg/m3 is quite high, I usually do a surface density of 0.75 to 1.5 kg/m3 for my habitable worlds
