@CASXA this is very bad. Hopefully everything will be alright. Otherwise we might be using the SN10. The biggest concern is damage to the high bay leading to a collapse. Or at least for me. That could set us back to 2026 for sure.
@iSpace So in my endeavor to make a reusable rocket I encountered a problem. Using full flow staged combustion provides a lot of benefits but it has one big problem for reusable rockets, it takes forever to shut down. So I end up going back down. How does one shut down the engine and avoid this? It destroys the rocket every time. And I know you use full flow. But you might not know the answer because your first stage hovers for a bit. But if you have any idea could you help me?
@AndrewGarrison I do often have stuff like this happen and sometimes it is worse. The Gamestate typically shows “ “ and nothing else where as normally it shows something (as you probably know though)
If it is on a different craft then I think it will have to be on the other crafts program. I looked through and didn’t see anything in the script for other crafts though. It is possible for a crafts vizzy to work within a certain range. I am 90% sure that it includes activation groups and individual parts. I am not 100% though. Lock heading does not work unfortunately on other crafts though (why no one will make an automatic falcon heavy on this website).
@JSO18 I almost got it! Just some unexpected physics that I had to overcome. Hoping to complete today. I want it to be reliable. I think it has something to do with what the true TWR. It would include things like drag.
You will want to do things like lock on vectors and things. If you look at examples like the infinite 7 you can get the exact coordinates of LZ-1. There is also a thing that tells you your lateral distance automatically but I have yet to get it working properly.
Does it tip over? Or is it not landing accurately?
4.6 years ago@Gen3ralInterstel1ar I can make a space station but there are no other solar systems.
4.6 years ago@QarabinaKa Oh dang that is weird. It worked though.

+1 4.6 years agoWhat do you mean the leaning tower?
4.6 years ago@Why1 there is no geostationary orbit height. The SOI is just to low to make it.
4.6 years agoTo figure out what the frequency of an exact pitch is so that you can make another block play that pitch.
4.6 years agoVery high. Possibly higher than Luna. I will look into it.

4.6 years ago@CASXA not really
4.6 years ago@Chtite451SR2 ok
4.6 years ago@Chtite451SR2 when I found it out I felt so powerful
4.6 years ago@Chtite451SR2 The First stage after separation got sent backwards by the thrust at over 2,000,000 mm/s
4.6 years ago@Chtite451SR2 I found a way to XML edit. I emailed it to my computer.
4.6 years agoAnd I am going for more
4.6 years ago@ZWAC I am on mobile iOs
4.6 years ago@Rafaele that is a great craft! You should update it with cockpit and MFD’s. I think it would be worth it.
+1 4.6 years ago@ZWAC yeah but it is a pretty large engine I need to do it.
4.6 years ago@ZWAC I just need 15
4.6 years ago@ZWAC can’t wait
4.6 years agoIf you actually do this though I want to see the sandbox before you leave
4.6 years agoMe and my team are evacuating to either a station around Juno or Cylero
4.6 years agoHonestly this is my favorite creation yet. But not a single person upvotes it who he’s I felt sucked.
+1 4.6 years ago@ZWAC same I keep forgetting and accidentally making that text
4.6 years ago@JSO18 Rocketscienceincorporated designed it
4.6 years ago@JSO18 trying to figure out how to get it on the main account
4.6 years ago@JSO18 yeah, Elon has already said that SN9 was built with problems fixed that they already knew existed.
4.6 years agoAlso low pressure in the header tank which was mainly being used in the landing burn
4.6 years ago@Chtite451SR2 YouTube near the end of the SpaceX stream
4.6 years ago@Chtite451SR2 watch it ASAP. It is only the SN8.
4.6 years agoGreat photos! It was so amazing! They almost had it. Too much horizontal speed I think.
4.6 years ago@Staticalliam7 @SmurfResearchX now my heart actually froze I think
4.6 years ago@JSO18 that was so accurate! A successful failure! Sad to see it go though.
4.6 years ago@JSO18 I know there is a forum somewhere that explains it. If I can find it I will link it.
4.6 years ago@JSO18 I think it works within 100 meters.

4.6 years agoDo you mean on the current controlled craft or on a different craft?
4.6 years agoWho else’s heart froze when it stopped at T-1?
+3 4.6 years ago@JSO18 same
4.6 years ago@Staticalliam7 I am watching NASA Spaceflight. How about you.
4.6 years agoYea
4.6 years ago@JSO18 it might work then. Excited to see it happen! Also can’t wait for SN8 today!

4.6 years ago@JSO18 it saves you fuel without the huge boost back.
4.6 years ago@JSO18 ok
4.6 years agoAlso you will need a much bigger first stage.

4.6 years ago@Vedhanth cool! Sounds great!
4.6 years agoSet activation group ( ) to (true) or (false)
