There is a box in the left of the designer when you drag something that says sun assembly. Make a sub assembly of the craft by dragging the command chip.
I have this problem. Turn off the connections to the main body and then it shouldn’t automatically correct to them. You can turn the main bodies connection back on afterwards.
What are the capabilities of each (just interested. Not planning to launch though.) I rarely do satellites. But I am going to launch a program. It will be a broad scale polar mapping satellite network.
@Arstotzka mining lasers are one thing. But guns and missiles are another. Mining tools would be awesome. And lasers that damage parts would be an interesting addition to that. The game will definitely need mining tools after or before campaign. But they will probably never need much more than that.
@Astrofighter you could use the damage effect that comes from reentry heating. So heat and impacts could damage it. Not just blow it up. With tinkering you could modify the health of it.
@zAerospace It still was unexpected due to it not being designed to blow up. Unless you know of some purposeful design flaw that was specifically designed to fail, then this was unexpected.
I would be fine with this as long as the people who paid didn’t get special parts or anything. I have always liked that SR2 has been a one time purchase. I don’t want to pay for multiplayer (in which I am not extremely excited about) just to get special parts. But I know other people want this so I wouldn’t mind it. Although X-Plane has always somehow kept a free two player thing. Even if just for local. That is something I would be happy to do. I don’t want multiplayer for myself though because of griefers. They exist everywhere that there is multiplayer and I would like my stations to be left alone.
@NebulaSpaceAgency it could probably take over 50 tons to cylero. Probably much more if @DASX has rockets that can get to LDO with 5,000,000 kilograms. Possibly even bringing over 100,000 kilograms.
@ChinmayShukla that is odd. Could I see the craft?

+1 4.4 years ago@017b you know I think I might have accidentally clicked the unfollow button.
4.4 years agoNow been updated to 366,670 kilo newtons. That is more than ten times the Saturn V.
4.4 years ago@Chtite451SR2 it doesn’t need to land on it though. It just needs to be able to enter its SOI
4.4 years agoDoes it have fins?
+1 4.4 years agoAlso no mods
4.4 years agoRequirements:
4.4 years agoMust have a rocket that can get to Cylero without any tinkering. None of our builds will be allowed to have tinkering on them.
@DASX ok. I will just name them XC-04-A, B, etc.
4.4 years ago@DASX if you don’t mind I could keep developing the XC-04 for you
4.4 years ago@CELESTIAL1 ok

+3 4.4 years ago@Vedhaspace thanks
+1 4.4 years agoBigger engine and nozzle throat size (on rocket engines)
4.4 years agoNo. Always wanted it though.
4.4 years agoAlthough what happened to Tully?

+1 4.4 years ago@JSO18 the engine failed and I think there was an aerodynamic problem
+1 4.4 years ago@iSpace hope it lands! If it doesn’t land the first time; remember it took Space X years to land it the first time.
+1 4.4 years ago@sflanker me and Pedro figured it out. I had it in a while loop without anything to stop it from broadcasting again
4.4 years ago@CASXA haven’t created a new account yet. Got deleted some how.

4.4 years ago@SuhuScompany what does making it explode using vizzy have to do with kinetic energy.

4.4 years agoFinally got it to work
4.4 years ago@Chtite451SR2 we could probably launch a little less of them.
4.4 years agoNow allowing 50 satellites

4.4 years agoI don’t have 50 threads
4.4 years agoDoes it land using vizzy. And does it land on LZ1?
4.4 years agoGeo stationary is 8,808 kilometers I think
4.4 years ago@NebulaSpaceAgency they aren’t launching to cylero for a while
4.4 years ago@Tweedle_Aerospace I didn’t know I could do that. Whoops!
