To get the swirly canyons, you need a noise as the mask for the canyons, then the noise for the canyons, and a remap curve to structure the canyon. @67milo

Ok, to get to the system's XML, you need to go to Owner > AppData > LocalLow > Jundroo > SimpleRockets 2 > UserData > CelestialDatabase > PlanetarySystems, @Spitty. Having each star have its own light is currently impossible without using mods. You give a star its light flare ("glowy stuff"), and you must increase intensity in the Subbiomes tab.
I have a request for you, @Zenithspeed, can you remove me and PZL's comments? My reasoning is quite stupid, but I already asked him to stop pinging me for unnecessary things, like spamming dots or mentioning me for no reason, and this comment needs to be deleted along with the others.
just set the settings to low graphics and it should be fine. plus, the game doesn't choose to crash, it crashes if it is overloaded or overwhelmed by something, like high graphics or high part count. also don't talk trash about it just because of something simple. at least try to fix and not cry like a baby
I have Space Engine and it is so pretty. I found habitable moons and worlds in alien galaxies, I saw planets that existed inside a binary system inside a nebula; Space Engine is THE best space exploration game.
