@ShakzDar Spaceflight Simulator is actually a pretty good game that I still play despite SR2 being out. It's 2D but it is a fun game that is also free on mobile. And also, none of these games are ripoffs of KSP. It's called a Genre.
@Planefun It isn't unheard of for indie developers to give out copies of their games for free. I also asked nicely, and my birthday is also this month. Please don't be rude about it.
@AndrewGarrison Would it be possible for me to receive the game for free? I will gladly pay for it like everyone else, but I'm just wondering if that's possible. If not, I probably won't be able to buy it on day one.
@Tully2001 May I just ask what rule it violates? It didn't appear to violate the No begging for upvotes rule, as I was not begging for likes, I was just making a joke post.
@Caveman999 I know, but I was wondering why only now are the Crafts and Sandboxes pages public. From the looks of it, they were already available to beta testers so I'm just curious.
@JetFly That's what I meant by manually deorbiting it. Though, kinetic bombardment would be far better. Wouldn't violate the treaty, either. But that's real world talk, not SR2 talk.
@AndrewGarrison I know this is probably a big 'no', but would it be possible to consider adding me to the list of beta testers? I've been following the game since the first post on this website, and I have never really been able to play any pc games. I'm also a big fan of rocket science but I could never get ksp, and SimpleRockets 2 is all I've really been thinking about for months when it comes to games. I've also just been really stressed out over this whole beta thing, anxious to see if I get selected. So if it's possible to add me to the list of beta testers I would be extremely grateful. Again, I'm totally fine with waiting but I'm just asking anyway to see if it is possible.
@Emin2904 What did you think was going to happen? It's random selection. And while I can't say this news didn't make me incredibly sad, you are overreacting.
@AndrewGarrison I've had SP and SR 1 for over a year but haven't had an account until a few days ago. I've also been following SR 2's development since the dawn of the website, but again, I haven't had an account for that long.
I also signed up for the beta about 6 hours after the post was released.
@MrSev Same. I try to give feedback when I can, however the last time I was in a beta I had no way to contact the developer. Luckily, it was an open beta so no harm was done. If I am selected, I will try my best to test the game's limits and give feedback and bug reports and such. Of course, I will obviously also mess around a lot and maybe make a Saturn V..
@Jetspeed1001 Have you tried using Fuel Adapters?
6.6 years ago@Jetspeed1001 Why are you making rockets that are that heavy?
6.6 years agoThe thrust is that way because the solar system is about 1/5 scale, so having the engines be real scale would make them overpowered.
6.6 years agoYep. I landed on Luna and plan to return to Droo later when I have time.
6.6 years agoI think you can already kinda do this by utilizing the Auto Burn with maneuver nodes, but i'm not sure since I haven't tried it yet.

6.6 years ago@AndrewGarrison Done
6.6 years ago@AndrewGarrison Would it be possible to implement it in the future?
6.6 years ago@AndrewGarrison What about different saves within the same sandbox? Revert flight and Quickload isn't always enough.
6.6 years ago@Kittingsl That might be it.
6.6 years agoIon engines require both Xenon and Electricity, so you will want to put on some solar panels.
6.6 years ago@GR00G0 This post was made an hour or so before release.
6.6 years ago@AndrewGarrison 15% Launch discount, you say? Interesting...
6.7 years agoI'd get Space Engineers as well if my PC could run it.
6.7 years ago@Planefun It isn't unheard of for indie developers to give out copies of their games for free. I also asked nicely, and my birthday is also this month. Please don't be rude about it.
6.7 years ago@AndrewGarrison Would it be possible for me to receive the game for free? I will gladly pay for it like everyone else, but I'm just wondering if that's possible. If not, I probably won't be able to buy it on day one.
6.7 years agoTo be fair to the uploader, the game is only 2 days from release so it isn't a huge deal.
6.7 years ago@Javarenas52 Yes, mobile isn't coming until 2019.
6.7 years agoProbably the first thing I'd do is get into orbit.
6.7 years ago@AndrewGarrison You should upload stuff to YouTube more often.
6.7 years ago@GR00G0 He means buying it on steam using the mobile app and then downloading it on his PC when he has the opportunity to.
6.7 years ago@Tully2001 May I just ask what rule it violates? It didn't appear to violate the No begging for upvotes rule, as I was not begging for likes, I was just making a joke post.
6.7 years agoWhy not just archive some pages with the Wayback Machine?
6.7 years ago@Qwertyuiop88 I hope so.
6.7 years ago@Thepilot172 PC Early Access on the 8th of November. Mobile will be next year.
6.7 years ago@Caveman999 I know, but I was wondering why only now are the Crafts and Sandboxes pages public. From the looks of it, they were already available to beta testers so I'm just curious.
6.7 years ago@AndrewGarrison The Crafts and Sandboxes pages are here publicly. Is this in preparation for an open beta or is this a mistake or something?
6.7 years ago@AndrewGarrison Will there be some kind of day 1 sale for it?
6.7 years ago@AndrewGarrison Is that the initial early access price or the full release price?
6.7 years ago@JetFly That's what I meant by manually deorbiting it. Though, kinetic bombardment would be far better. Wouldn't violate the treaty, either. But that's real world talk, not SR2 talk.
6.7 years ago@JetFly You'll need to manually deorbit the projectiles. I doubt you can deploy a bomb at enough force to deorbit it into Smearth.
6.7 years agoThis makes me wonder; What did this game have as far as rapid unscheduled disassemblies go before this update?
6.7 years ago@AndrewGarrison Will we be able to slow time to see these explosions in glorious slow motion?
6.7 years ago@Tommmyisakat He has officially said before that mobile devices will get the game some time next year.
6.7 years ago@RailfanEthan I don't know the system on SP.
6.7 years ago@RailfanEthan Is there a guide to links and other stuff you can do with comments? Because I can't seem to find one.
6.7 years ago@Emin2904 I'm sure there's a password for it anyway.
6.7 years ago@PurpleAviation A long time from now.
6.7 years ago@GuHP20 Hi! Didn't expect to see you here.
6.7 years ago@iLikeipads Mate, I don't think your rocket exploding is a "slight issue"...
6.7 years ago@Emin2904 I would rather get an answer from @AndrewGarrison.
6.7 years ago@AndrewGarrison I know this is probably a big 'no', but would it be possible to consider adding me to the list of beta testers? 6.7 years ago3 hours left!
6.7 years ago@blueangelproduction He said before that currently they are not in the game but if enough people want them they may get added.
6.7 years ago@AndrewGarrison I've had SP and SR 1 for over a year but haven't had an account until a few days ago. I've also been following SR 2's development since the dawn of the website, but again, I haven't had an account for that long.

@robloxweponco Andrew said that if you do get selected to test the beta, you are not allowed to share pictures or videos.

6.8 years ago@Othawne He said that if you are given beta access, you are unfortunately not allowed to upload videos or pictures of it.
6.8 years ago@DonaldDuckje Next year.
