Well; I returned it to Droo. Thing is though, I sorta forgot I put a 4 ton battery under the command capsule, and the parachute couldn't slow that down enough and.. well.. you get the idea.
Return is looking good so far. Got out of Cylero and am nearly on a course back to Droo with plenty of spare DeltaV left given the fact that from here all I really need to do is some mid-course corrections.
@Awsomur
Yes, Cylero is this game's Mars analog.
Here's the current Solar System:
Droo (Earth)
Luna (Moon)
Cylero (Mars)
Tydos (Jupiter)
And Urados, which is Uranus.
@AndrewGarrison If my brother gets selected for beta testing would I also be able to play it? I was going to fill the form since I got a new tablet, but it said I already filled it because I guess it's limited to 1 per IP Address or something.
@Kell Correction: Google Play doesn't prohibit the running of mods. Most SimplePlanes mods do in fact have an Android version. However, (not sure if this is the case for SimpleRockets 2) future versions of SimplePlanes on Android will require that the scripting backend be changed from one that supports mods to one that does not due to Google Play now requiring that all apps have 64-bit support. See here for more details.
@WaspWaspWaspSR2 Well, if you actually do play Spaceflight Simulator, I'm a well-known member of The official Forums for the game, if you're interested in joining. It's quite a nice community.
Looks great so far! If my tablet won't be able to run it, then at least I have the PC version (And have had it since the first 10 minutes of the game's release!).
sigh Read the FAQ before asking the same question several people have already asked before. It's being worked on.
"When can we expect the mobile (iOS/Android) release?"
We will begin development in early 2019. At this point, it is too early to give a release date estimate. Once we’ve started to peel the onion back we’ll have a better grasp on how long it will take to get the mobile version blasting off.
@Shoot2kill My PC isn't good enough to make something of that size. I'm talking about something you can actually drive/pilot in-game. If I had the PC necessary for this I'd totally try it though.
From the FAQ: "When can we expect the mobile (iOS/Android) release?

In its current state, SimpleRockets 2 would not run very well on a lot of mobile devices. They still need to get it out of early access, as well as making it able to run smoothly on a mobile device. They've been asked this question probably hundreds of times at this point, and the answer has always been the same.
@Kell I wouldn't say tinkering is dishonorable. It is genuinely useful at times. For example, one could use it to make a large Heat Shield out of an empty fuselage. It has useful properties, but can easily be abused.
@PlanesofJundroo You know there's a suggestions page, right? Speaking of which, @AndrewGarrison could you make my Inflatable Heat Shield suggestion visible?
@AndrewGarrison The people I've talked to have said they are. Congrats on the Mobile release!
5.8 years ago@AerialFighterSnakes I appreciate that HTTYD reference lol
5.8 years agoMeanwhile I've had the mobile version for the past 27 days or so :p
5.8 years ago@Allentsb You weren't selected for the beta, and you're not a YouTuber, so you're gonna have to wait until the 19th and buy it like everyone else.
5.8 years agoOh, so you are the same person as the guy on the SFS Server. Neat.
5.8 years agoYes
5.8 years ago@MarioG I still have it so I can change it back whenever I want
5.8 years ago@Looney I dunno. I'm just bored.
5.8 years ago@NerdsGalore No
5.9 years agoWell; I returned it to Droo. Thing is though, I sorta forgot I put a 4 ton battery under the command capsule, and the parachute couldn't slow that down enough and.. well.. you get the idea.

On Google Play you won't need to repurchase the game when it's released. Not sure about iOS.
5.9 years ago@AndrewGarrison
We live in the same house and we get along pretty well. Hell, I was the one who told him to sign up since at the time my tablet was broken.

5.9 years ago@Iplaygamesforever @DonaldDuckje You'll probably be tagged here and presumably emailed with a download link.

5.9 years agoSFS? Spaceflight Simulator?

5.9 years agoIn the settings you can change the physical warp speed.

Anyone else want to ask the same exact question?
5.9 years ago@legohelobilly 'games(at)jundroo(dot)com'
6.0 years agoReplace the 'at' and 'dot' with '@' and '.'. He typed it that way presumably to prevent spam bots.
@NathanMikeska
6.0 years ago@MarioG Ah. Thanks for the response.
6.0 years ago@MarioG
6.0 years agoThere's a Mods page
6.0 years agoThis seems useful. I'll check this out later. :)
@PorkyClown3 I might be able to do this, but I'll need to practice with making cars first.
6.1 years agoClicky
6.1 years agoThere you go. Now you should be able to post in the videos section. :)
6.1 years ago@SicnarfGhost Clicky
6.1 years ago@Kell @Shoot2kill Sorry, I thought you meant the contents of the update, not the release date.
6.2 years agoRead the Roadmap.
6.2 years ago@marcushouse If you see this, your cover's blown. hehe
6.2 years agoThe timing on this is kinda funny because there's a high chance I'll become a moderator on a different forum today. lol
6.2 years agoWhy not do it legitimately?
6.2 years agoIt costs $15 on Steam. You could have just looked on the steam page..
6.2 years ago@RenxBlake I can't do the Infinity or the Pillar of Autumn because I don't have the skill and my PC isn't good enough.
6.2 years ago@Shoot2kill My PC isn't good enough to make something of that size. I'm talking about something you can actually drive/pilot in-game. If I had the PC necessary for this I'd totally try it though.
6.2 years agoHow about a Ghost from the Halo series?
6.2 years agoAre you the one that wrote that one steam review that said that exact thing?
6.2 years agoFrom the FAQ: "When can we expect the mobile (iOS/Android) release?

6.2 years agoThey put the FAQ button next to the New Post button for this exact reason.

6.2 years ago@AndrewGarrison The new beta shows the in-game changelog for 0.6.9.2 (the jet engine update) instead of the latest version. Screenshot in this post
6.2 years agoNow do this.
6.2 years ago@PlanesofJundroo You know there's a suggestions page, right? Speaking of which, @AndrewGarrison could you make my Inflatable Heat Shield suggestion visible?
6.2 years ago@AndrewGarrison Ah, thanks. Apologies for my ignorance there. I was tired when I loaded my SR-71 and didn't see that.
6.3 years ago@AndrewGarrison So I can make a steampunk rocket if I wanted to?
6.3 years ago@AndrewGarrison So uh, is the Water fuel type used for anything?
