What i think the game might really need are Hybrid engines like for example Ksp's r.a.p.i.e.r engine to make SSTO's actually viable to build in the game.
and maybe as a second wish i think JNO could mayhaps also need a visual upgrade in the re-entry and Vapor effects
The original mod creator has been like inactive for a damn long time, honestly the best bet you have is going into the official Discord server and asking in the #mods channel for this in order to get more attention from modders i guess
