@PhilipTarpley that is a brilliant idea and i did experienced the effects of lowering the refresh rate, it made my phone be less of a toast machine. But bro...there is no way I'm playing a game with 30 fps :)
I have an overheating issue with my lg g8 thinq german version. I didnt really check it but it seems that it geta to 55-70 degrees celcius. Maybe the german version doesnt have a good water sink, or does not have any cooling way other than thermal compund at all. But it still gets toasty and it usually crashes after a while. I am forcing the water physics to its max, maybe thats why. As a result, i think the game needs a lot of optimizing and will get toasty unless you use a snapdragon 865
