Not sure what that plane has to really do with this, it's just pure physics engine. Now I'm having to deal with a plane that continually explodes after take off.
@KraZIvan It seems very hard to tell if they will work or not, Even if they are mostly outside of the plane it is impossible to know if they will work or not. And I have a plane with the jet engine being blocked by an inlet that is being blocked by the jet engine.
I personally don't like it, if you have one part that is offset just slightly so you can't tell. Then your entire craft will be offset, and you have to break mirrored parts in order to even test your craft. Thus a small mistake that could have been spotted with the Simple planes mirror function, is stuck on your craft forever unless you take the entire thing apart. I say what we have is good for some things, but we need the SP one as well.
I figured out a problem with my plane, the electric motor on my plane had really odd effects:
Braking caused the craft to accelerate quickly.
After around 300 m/s the craft will also begin to accelerate up to 1000 m/s
Not sure how this is happening, but removing the propeller fixed it. Can we get normal props like in simple planes next?
Getting an odd bug where after going 300 m/s my aircraft will gain a huge acceleration buff taking it past 900 m/s, and after that it is impossible for it to slow down below 300 m/s. It is an odd craft but still very odd that it has the behavior.
@mjdfx150529 Odd, so when I go to the suggestions and make a new topic. It doesn't make it in the suggestions area even though it gives me the suggestions tag. I can see that the topic creator link you gave me indicates it is a suggestion now, how would I find it without the link you gave me if you don't mind me asking?
It's great! Wheels on small aircraft still seem to have a problem with traction. Also we need sonic booms and effects now.

4.7 years agoI have an amazing prop plane that works about perfectly, I just can't seem to figure out how exactly I did that. Maybe I can just duplicate parts.

5.2 years agoReverse thrust is epic! It sounds much cooler than afterburners now though. Can you make the after burners sound cooler?
5.3 years agoHmm, good update, I started making a new craft just now and the jet engines seem to be ignoring the intakes I have on it. Stuck at 0%.
Edit: Oh wait it works now. odd.
