The Super Albatross was a super-heavy cargo aircraft capable of carrying unconventional cargo loads over moderate distances with a relatively cheap cost. While some of the first versions of the aircraft had the same role, they did not have the engine power to lift weight proportional to the volume of space clearance within the aircraft. The Mk.7 variant set out to fix that issue, with the Mk.7B being more of a facelift for the aircraft. It features mechanical flaps, new engine cowlings, and a more tapered nose for slightly lighter weight.
