6X speedup (yes, you can use timewarp during (un)folfing)

Just a simple, 25 parts (one segment), undfoldable working solar sail for your needs.
One side is about 100 meters
the sail does not come with any decoration, so you can make it yourself
One segment is enough for ˜50 tonnes
Folding/unfolding time is about 3 minutes

It does not change thrust depending on the angle to the sun to simplify it, but only relies on solar radiation, otherwise its use will turn into torture
ACHTUNG!!!
This thing can cause your game to crash, during operations in craft designer, due to solar panel segment count.
BUT it flies just purfectly
Don't forget to copy program from command disc to your craft

@HermesAerospace yep. 5K it's really a problem for 200$ phone.
If phone is new it can even handle more than 15K parts
(I launched some, so I khow) -

@hellooooooooooo2 sadly no. My phone almost dead, so I can't even open JNO.

@KirRu can you make one with rocket so people without any bundle can launch it?

@Fhbjkhfghhjfgh because on the one hand there are very few details in crafting.
but on the other hand, the solar panels from which the “sail” is made have a lot of segments, which from time to time causes severe lags

I've actually hadn't seen any solar sails in this web before this post! Great job as always!@KirRu

A rough approximation to the incidence angle is
[ nav (Craft Roll Axis) ] angle [ planet () (velocity) ]. You'd want the planet name to be the central star of your solar system. That gets you theta which you can then multiply your irradiance by cos(theta). Lambert's cosine law is not as brutal as the inverse square law, but it is still a loss obviously. -

@NovaSpaceLLC I think this craft is too old for RP)
