Description:
This is a replica of the Variable Geometry Self-Propelled Battle Droid, Mark I (aka 'Vulture Droid') from the Star Wars Episode I (The Phantom Menace) collection. If you like this, also check out my other Lego creations.
Features/Instructions:
- Simple Dual-Mode operation (fly or walk). Just press AG1 for surface hover flight, AG2 for walk, or neither for classic flight
- Use Slider 1 to adjust walk heading in walk mode, or hover height in surface mode
- Throttle controls relative walk speed
Disclaimers:
- I have used tinker panel mainly to improve physics (disabling drag and collisions on all of the exterior studs) and get the CoM just right without messing with the Lego structure.
- To make this a functional craft I had to include fuel reservoirs and gyroscope using size and mass scaling.

That’s the color of the original lego set. I will make the blue one too eventually, but I wanted to see if the code for dual-mode worked. -
