Stage I

This project meant to be 7-days progress but ended up 20.

Origins

The true origins of FV4005 can be found on my FV4005 Stage I, so I will make the description about the Stage II instead.

Improvements over Stage I

After the successful testing of Stage I, the War Office decided to improve their experimental vehicle. The most notable change are additional of a fully enclosed turret with the shape resembelence a literal large box. The loading assist are removed to save up spaces in the turret. Instead, an additional loader replacing loading assist – one loader handling the projectile and another is for the propellant. Commander seat also added on the right side of the cannon. The concentric recoil system were also replaced by hydropneumatic recoil system probably for more space saving reasons.

The gun now can be elevated or depressed at an angle of +10 and -5 (War Tinder states that the maximum gun elevation is +15, but the FV4005 I made only reach +10, if I make it +15, the gun would clip into the floor and for some reason WoT and WoTB's FV4005 gun elevation is +8 and -10) The large turret also makes the FV4005 the tallest vehicle made by United Kingdom. Despite they add a turret, it barely protect the crew against enemy's gun cannon or more specific, the armor of the turret was just 14 mm (½ inch) thick all-around, including the mantlet. This thin armor choice is because the large and heavy gun makes the suspension and the engine of the Centurion chassis couldn't take any extra weight. this just meant for stopping small arms bullets from hitting the crew and shell splinters. Also, the tank doesn't meant for frontline so the tank doesn't need that thick armor. The turret splited into 2 parts, the front section placed the commander, gunner, and the gun with face section sloped at 10° of angle and the cheeks sloped even more, the roof section sloped at 85°. There are 2 escape hatches for the commander and the gunner to escape quickly. Both of them also given periscope infront of the escape hatches. The small box section infront of the gunner also placed, the purpose of this is unknown, but I make this as for the gunner's gun view. Somehow Gaijin make this box as the co-axial MG the M1919 placed. The rear section of the turret is elevated, higher than the front section. So the turret doesn't strike the engine compartment. This is also the section that the 12 massive projectile and the propellant stored, also the 2 loaders. On the back, located a door for the access of the crews into the turret. A box at the rear of the hull is meant for storage to store winch. Projectiles and propellants would be placed on a rail then winched into the turret via the back door.

In Game feature, system and controls

The interior of the turret may not accurate and realistic, because finding blueprints or even the interior pics of the turret is rare in the internet. (Even the Conway, the lesser known FV4005's sister had more blueprint in the internet) And the only thing that help me make the interior is this blueprint:

This craft weighs 51 tons, more accurate to the real life counterpart at 50 tons. Snail's FV4005 nearly reach 60 tons because "HiStORicaLLy acCuRaTE" reason. EVEN THE INTERIOR SECTION OF THE GUN IS BASED ON STAGE 1 WHICH IS NOT ACCURATE AT ALL

Controls

Pitch for forward and reverse
Roll for left and right (can neutral steering)

Sliders

Slider 1: positive to rotate the turret to left and negative to right (left 45° and right 45°)
Slider 2: positive to elevate the gun and negative to depress (+10° and -7°)

Activation Groups

1: Engine
The AG will turn on the wheels controls and activating generators that mimic engine sound
2: Driver's Hatch

The legendary HESH tank exists now. Nothing will stand in its way, at least it will for the roughly 40 second reload but we don't talk about that.
