The Myrsky-1 (NATO reporting name: “Spar”) is an unguided missile designed by engineer Tapio “Aleksander” Mäkinen, who named his new design “Myrsky”. It came into service in the Russian Army in 2014, seeing service in multiple theaters across the planet. It was eventually replaced by newer missile launchers.

The Myrsky-1 carries a large unguided missile that can shoot far away. However, it’s crippling flaw is it’s inability to reload after use, requiring the launcher head to be replaced. It’s replacements can reload the missile after use.

Using it is quite difficult but becomes easy once you are used to it. You have to use the pitch slider (not on the joystick) to aim the rocket elevation and the brake slider to put the vehicle in place. The good side is that it’s got power and it’s rechargable, but it cannot be reloaded after use. To tow it, have a towing vehicle move into the front and connect the docking ports together to achieve this; you might need assistance with an austronaut’s grappling hook for some situations.

I made the rocket launcher on a towed carriage, because there seems to be a dearth of rocket launchers on towed carriages. I originally conceptualized it to be a katyusha-like rocket launcher that launches multiple rockets, but I reduced it to one large rocket.

Also, please do NOT EVER POST POLITICAL CONTENT HERE, IT’S A VIOLATION OF THE RULES TO DO SO. This is just for fun and can be used for fun, don’t ruin the fun part.

Changelog:
1.0: 1st Release.
1.1: Fixed Problem with Tow Port.
