The weight swings waiting for the release, so it will affect distance,
Also, weight, and sliding the block forward or backward will also affect launch angle and distance.
Launches the block about half the length of a runway. I got an idea for something useful out of this.

Lol beat me again! I've been wanting to make a catapult(specifically a trebuchet) for a while now, but just haven't gotten around to it yet(plus the robe thing). Great job man!

Sure, but once you hit about 80 kg on the projectile weight the distance starts to decrease. An astronaut is 106 kg and you should be able to fling him about 1/3 of a runway length 🙊 @FriendlyFin
