@NebulaSpaceAgency VASIMR engines have a specific impulse of 5000 s and much higher exhaust velocity than standard ion engines. I am trying to replicate this in game with xml edited ion engines.
Edit: of course this is assuming development continues and the theorized high thrust becomes reality.

ion engines.. why..? their TWR is astonishingly low to the point where they’re useless
