Hello!!! Hope you are having a good weekend. This is a purely electric drone that uses two electric motors to spin blades, and create lift. If you have ever had the plesure of building a helecopter, you will know that the blades go in opposite derections to counteract the unwanted rotational accesleration that is applied not just to the blades, but also to the craft, causing it to spin. This helecopter uses three high-power gyros to keep the craft orenntated to the derection you want, witch can be locked. The motors are high torque and high speed for mazimum lift.

Turn on the craft by activating the gyro and motor action groups. Next, lock the gyro and, when ready, increase the thrust. Please note that the craft will come off the ground at aprox %48. You can then orent your craft to the direction you want. Landing is suprisingly simple, just cancel all momentum and slowly lower to ground. The impact springs allow landings on virtually any surface. The battery varies by use but it is important to remember to shut of the gyro after use as it is a big battery drain.

I am also configuing the design to make it smaller, and for mars and re-chargeable use. Please stay tuned!!!

I’m working on Vizzy integration - trying to make it take off, come to a hover at an exact altitude, and geographically still even under harsh wind conditions. Then it will fly to a different landing location, stay still again, and perform a soft touch down. If you have any ideas for how I could pull this off with as little scripting as possible (while still remaining perfectly still in hover), let me know in the comments :).

@blackhellcat Nothing needs to be complicated to be cool. I am surprised this works so well.
