@Aviationguy771 Honestly, I just use the autopilot for this, because of the complicated flight plan.
What I do to get maximum altitude is:
- Take-Off (Most Important part).
- Wait until Mach 2.
- Go straight up.
- Light Rocket Engine at 10km.
- RCS on at 15km
- Wait until 30-40km.
- Point down.
- Wait until Mach 3/altitude of 1000m and pull up HARD, set locked vector to 90 degrees straight up.
- Light Rocket engine at 10km.
You'll get to 40-50km this way. -

tested highest speed i flew it 765m/s mach 2.25 except the jet was flying sideways from the mere fact it had no vertical stablelizers now my pilot is experiencing fly diagnolly at mach 2
