First things first!

I'd like to thank y'all for 2000 points here! Virtual points give me a lot of dopamine.
This special craft was supposed to be a mobile base, but I had a lot of technical problems with that. So I made a plane with a ton of variations! (That's why I'm a bit late)

Meet the Goliath-260 (GL-260) "Atlas". OSAS' small and versatile cargo plane. We figured that few people really need the 100-meter-long behemooth of a cargo plane that is the Quetza so we decided to do a more reasonable sized one.
The GL-260 can lift up to 50000 kg (using the whole length of the main DSC runway), cargo can be loaded or unloaded from the rear ramp, and cargo can also be airdropped if needed. There is also a built-in ladder on the front door that can be extracted or retracted when needed.

How to Fly

  • All action groups are labled
  • Slider 1 (down): Flaps
  • Slider 2: Pitch Trim

  • Takeoff speed: 80m/s (when you get to 60m/s you'll pitch up but you won't start to gain altitude yet so wait for the correct speed to put your gear up)

  • Max speed: ~200m/s
  • Operation ceiling: 10000m

Here are the commercial variations of the Atlas (with a different designation: HZ-39C):
