Juno Jupiter probe

Juno Jupiter probe is the second exploration project implemented by NASA's Xinjiang Boundary Project (the first project is the New Horizon probe launched in 2006). Juno was built by Lockheed Martin of the United States, and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory under NASA was responsible for the operation of the whole exploration mission. At 12: 25 on August 5, 2011, the Jupiter probe Juno blasted off from Cape Canaveral, Florida, USA, and embarked on an expedition to Jupiter. At 2 pm on January 13th, 2016 (at 3 am on January 14th, Beijing time), the Juno of the United States broke the record of the longest voyage of a detector that relies on solar energy. At that time, it was about 793 million kilometers away from the sun, compared with about 150 million kilometers from the earth to the sun. In the past few years, Juno has sent back a lot of precious scientific data, which has helped us to re-understand Jupiter, a giant gas planet. It discovered the difference between the aurora at Jupiter's poles and the aurora on the earth, revealed the mystery of ammonia distribution in Jupiter's atmosphere, and photographed amazing cloud images on Jupiter's surface. Juno's scientific achievements have greatly promoted people's understanding of Jupiter and its satellite system, especially providing unprecedented data on Jupiter's internal structure, magnetic field, atmosphere and aurora. These discoveries not only reveal the mystery of Jupiter, but also provide important clues for studying the formation and evolution of the solar system.
