Today after mounting the vacuum rated Galactic 2, We performed a rapid relight test on the engine. All of the systems operated nominally both times we lit the engine. We kept the nozzle on the engine because we weren't concerned about the nozzle taking damage due to flow seperation happening inside of the outer edge of the nozzle. We engineered the nozzle to be capable of burning within the atmosphere in the event of an emergeny pad abort and the vehicle needs to be quickly moved away from the booster underneath.

@SamTheFox Well, the only way is to go into planet editor and remove the launch FX. That's the only way I know of besides moving away from the pad itself.
And for the engine, only way is to go and edit the engine its exhaust properties and set the engine exhaust to false. -
