@NebulaX Someone said they used RCS as backup engines.

@ZWAC Nice. I am pretty sure the backup engines are the main ones. Using Progress to push it would be interesting.

@NebulaX Good news, it used its backup engines to do the first transfer a while ago.

@NebulaX not RCS. Main engines. Everything is good

@ZWAC Oh wait, RCS burns. Like on Dragon. That explains why it will take a week for it to get there.

@KirRu Man, that’s just sad. I feel bad for the people that had to work every week, for decades. And every time, there is a new problem. I wouldn’t be surprised if they scrapped it due to a failure on the module during flight.

@NebulaX unfortunately there is nothing particularly new there. There were a lot of problems with this module, and for the last ≈20 years they have just been fixing it.

@KirRu That’s insane. They must’ve had to revamp it a bunch to catch up with the new technologies.

@NebulaX it's old as ISS(it was a backup for Zarya). The launch of Nauka, initially planned for 2007
