If you ever wanted a little more excitement when launching your beautiful creations into space than this is perfect for you. JNO Launch Failure is a vizzy program that, as the name implies, adds the possibility of a failure at launch.
With this cube on your craft any "critical" part has a chance of malfunctioning anywhere between 0 and 80km so you can have that extra thrill when launching.
NOTE: You're going to want to attach the cube to your command pod/disc or anywhere you will have on your craft at all times during the ascent. The connections of the part are disabled so you need to connect it manually through the "Part Connections" menu.
Features
- Parts that can fail:
- Rocket engines
- Interstages
- Side interstages
- Fairings
-Numbers:
- 20% chance of failure by default (tweakable)
- Failure can happen from 0 to 80km by default (tweakable)
-Funny messages when a part fails (most from ChatGPT)
Those include:
- "It's not rocket science, they said"
- "Houston, we have a(nother) problem.... "
- "Someone spilled their coffee on the "do not press" buttons again"
And many more
We are planing to update this to add some more stuff so if you like this vizzy "mod" thing please show your support by upvoting and feel free to add any suggestions to the comments

@RamenNoodlesXVII That is something we have planned but we're not sure how to deal with solid fuel engines
The way we check for the right parts to fail is using the part type and all the engines have the "Rocket Engine" part type (except jet engines i assume). So I don't know how to check whether it is a liquid fuel engine of solid fuel engine

For engine failures, maybe find a way to disable them permanently than outright destroying them? Just breaking engines makes the craft look peculiar
