The Kepler Lander Cargo Vehicle is the first of the three vehicles that comprise the Mars Constellation mission. This vehicle uses a staged configuration that utilizes more than one command chip. So to utilize the lander stages, once you eject the shelled lander, select it and take control of its command chip.

    @TophatAirkraft The control chip of the first stage should be the default stage. If not then select the control chip just behind the decoupler between the lander and the first stage. The orientation of that control chip should be straight.

    @ninthninja05 I thought the nuclear stage was the default stage. To get the nuclear stage in the right direction, take control of the chip that is just behind the large docking port of the nuclear stage. If you want to use the landing stage again, select the chip inside the capsule of the lander.

    How do you control the nuclear stage? The command chip is configured perpendicular to the thrust direction.
