Hi everyone. I'm hoping that someone here can help me with this. I've been trying to figure out how to make my craft, say a flying saucer or a hovercraft of some kind, float in mid-air at a fixed altitude. I'm not a mathematician by any stretch of the imagination, but I imagine it has something to do with the relationship between the craft's current weight/mass, the amount of thrust/throttle, and the TWR. Just don't know how to "write" the equation or whatever it's called in Vizzy. The altitude doesn't really matter. I just want to be able to activate an activation group and have the thing hover at whatever altitude it's currently at...

Can anyone help me with an equation/script?

Thanks I will look at your stuff. I think it's possible with Vizzy of course, because I have the script that allows my rockets to land on their "feet" via suicide burn. Can't remember where I got it from. But I can't figure out how to modify it (if that's possible) to make a craft hover instead of slow to the ground. Let's see...

Gozinya is better at Vizzy than me, but my specialty is manipulation of parts to get them to do what I want. I can recommend my hovering bots or my Infinity ship as samples, but Gozinya is better if you want to learn Vizzy.
