If you look at my auto landing booster test, you will see with rcs it turns around very slowly, making a boost back burn out of the question. I have tried other configurations, only making it worse. I have also tried a gyroscope. Any ideas?
Any suggestions for making a craft able to turn around fast enough to do a boost back burn before passing apoapsis

IDK what your booster is like but I mean if your really having trouble you could use a small srb to spin you round fast and then stabilise with rcs and boost back. Its an original idea but still.

I realistically only see rcs as an option there, especially for larger crafts. You will just need to make it stronger.
