I'd like to think that I've gotten pretty good at a lot of things related to planet making, but I can't figure out what the range for the simple biome modifier (on droo) is supposed to be. I thought it was the longitude for the biome, but why is the range on droo from -1 to 2, and why does editing it lead to some blank surfaces? And how come even though gas giants can only have one biome, when I attempt this on Luna I just get the black surface. Sorry if the questions are dumb, but unlike with other things I can't just look up info on Perlin noise genorations.

@HyperPatch lmao thanks, but I figured it out eventually when I was making another planet but only after a ton of confusion

Biomes are connected to the vertex modifiers listed at the top. For example, Luna has a plains biome. That biome's edges are defined by the vertex data "Craters" modifier among other ones.

Update: I has successfully made a Luna with trully one biome using the simple biome modifier, and while I still don't fully understand it, I guess I can use it...
