Look I want weapons this game needs it anyway it will make the game even more fun.

@JoshuaW The thing is, this isn't a war game, so what's the point? I'd like a warhead, but that's it. There's so many space war games out there that have everything you just mentioned, so why don't you go play those? This is a game about exploration, not explosions. I vote for no weapons.

I want weapons in this game, I want electromagnetic cannon, I want space torpedo with nuclear warhead, I want tachyon lance that
can pierce a planet, I even want dark matter generator and FTL engine. It's a sandbox game, more features always means more fun.

I don't want weapons in the game. It's a space flight sim. There are plenty of space war games out there. I saw someone had modded a Titan 2 ICBM. It might be interesting to have a nuke to put on a rocket, but I'm not pushing for that.

@Caveman999 not everyone will be able to get mods when SR2 comes to mobile mainly on iOS Also I don’t think that making weapons with the existing parts will be be a viable solution.

weapons work just fine in orbit and vacuum environments
My impressions on this are that weapons would be a relatively trivial thing to add to the game, and being a sandbox game, more capabilities can never hurt.

I bet your fun at parties.

simple planes was a plane game
but they added wheels why?
because people wanted it
the made very bad looking wheels using the fuselage part
but because they are very good devs
they just added the wheel part
they might add weapons
and that would be a feature
the choice of using the feature or not is fully you'rs
don't just say no to a feature
who knows you might use it?

Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM) and some Intermediate Range Ballistic Missiles (IRBM) go into space and renter via a reentry vehicle. Some carry multiple nuclear warheads called MIRV’s (Multiple Independently Targetable Reentry Vehicles). Engines used in ICBM’s also were used in many spacecraft like the Titan ll engine. I personally don’t see a issue with adding weapons like ICBM’s.
