So, like a noob, I deployed my parachute on space, but then, during reentry, it somehow survived. I don't know if this is a glitch or an intended feature, but I just wanted to ask to see if anyone knew. It also might not be the most realistic if the parachute is supposed to survive, but the game is still overall fun to play. Thanks Jundroo!

The parachutes slowed the craft down, so it didn’t have any friction, so no friction, no re entry.

Yeh. You can use them to capture in to Cylero orbit from a Droo transfer. I expect they still have some tweaking to do.

the parachute also fully unfurls in space. veryyy unrealistic. I hope this will be fixed

I thought I saw some settings that would increase the realism and heat resistance... try the same scenario in game mode (not sandbox) and see what happens.
