Yesterday, OrbITech conducted the second flight test of the Magellanic 1. While the vehicle's first stage worked flawlessly, the second stage engine failed to light, leaving the second stage and payload on a suborbital trajectory. Consequently, the FTS was activated, terminating the flight just after apoapsis to minimize the spread of potential debris.

Our initial investigation has determined that the cause of the failure was second stage ullage. While we work on a permanent solution, we have a short term fix planned for the next test.

LV-003, our next launch vehicle, is currently being moved to the pad in preparation for OTF-3, currently scheduled for NET 6:00PM PST 12/21/21.
