Mystery plane spotted at DSC!

The plane in question was sighted around 8:00 am

as it taxied onto the runway shortly before taking off and flying out of sight. About an hour later, the plane returned, landed, and taxied into a small, nondescript hanger, once again out of sight.

Many DSC employees were surprised by it's sudden appearance. Manuel Trujillo, a mechanical systems technician at the DSC, had "never seen a plane like that. It just showed up this morning like it was there the whole time".

The origins of the plane are still unknown. The FAA has declined to comment, and no companies have stepped forward to claim the aircraft as their own.

Professional launch photographer and rocket enthusiast, Tim Dodd, happened to be nearby setting up equipment to capture an upcoming launch. He managed to capture a few photos of the aircraft in flight, albeit from a long range.

The photographs show what appears to be a UAV(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) of the sort recently adopted by leading militaries across Droo. With a low-slung, forward mounted camera in a gyro-cradle and a sleek, purposefully angular airframe, it would appear that this aircraft is also designed to minimize it's radar cross-section. That, combined with the slate grey coloring, would make it at least partially stealth by design.

The plane appears to be the same one

first spotted on November 2nd of this year over 1,000 km to the southwest of the DSC. An avid birdwatcher named Burt Walker noticed the aircraft during an excursion through the desert. He managed to get a single blurry photo of what he described as a "UFO".

Mr. Walker is aware of the existence of Area 42, the military's highly secret testing facility only a hundred kilometers from the location of his sighting stating, "Yeah. I know 'em boys is out der playin' wit' der fancy toys an' such!", however, he adamantly proclaimed that, "'Em boys got a alien spaceship, crashed in 1947 [...] been usin' parts offit e'er since [...] to make der doohickeys an' such!".

Regardless of those claims, the aircraft he photographed looks very similar to the one seen today.
