I have been looking for an actual size Falcon 9 model, but it seems many amazing designs are all about 1.8m diameter instead of the actual 3.66m. Why is this? Have you been able to find a real sized version?

I have been programming a nice vizzy that follows the launch profile more or less exactly to reality but would like an accompanying rocket.

Thanks

@Dooiereier I mean, you can make it for RSS if you want.

@HorizonsTechnologies Well, that’s true. But still.

@DrexxVolv Very rough estimate. Droo is actually larger than Pluto by a decent portion.

@DrexxVolv Ok I have been having one long brainfart. I compared the diameter specs to the radius indications given in the designer. D'oh!

That makes sense, thanks. For RSS it would be nice to have a real sized F9. Another question you might have an answer to:

I use RSS. Whenever I have a launch platform that keeps the rocket strapped with side interstages using 0% release power the rocket first sinks quite a bit before climbing up again. I make sure the power is well enough to have a TWR >1 but still it descends first. Any idea why?

Because Droo is around the size of Pluto, and Earth isn’t.
