I have been wanting to create a functional space station but have been holding off for this reason. It’s incredibly hard to transfer crew. I think you should make a docking port that can be opened by an astronaut for them to go through.

i was thinking more the KSP style and be able to transfer astronauts by pressing a button of some sort and then press the module you want to transfer an astronaut to but this is another idea that would be interesting
